Performs Accounts Payable duties to include, but not limited to:
*Reviews Accounts Payable (A/P) invoice coding, approvals, purchase orders, and other required support prior to posting.
*Posts invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
*Performs vendor statement reconciliations for high-priority vendors as determined by Controller and/or GM.
*Communicates regularly with vendors in a professional and effective manner to ensure a win- win result for all parties.
*Maintain proper files for unpaid accounts and for paid accounts.
*Review A/P aging on a regular basis to ensure prompt payment and redemption of credits.
Performs Accounts Receivable (A/R) duties to include but not limited to:
*Calling on direct bill application references and submitting to Controller level 1 approval.
*Review Banquet Event Orders, Contracts, and other information when reviewing customer charges to ensure timely and accurate billing.
*Perform collection efforts to ensure timely receipts.
*Maintain proper files for unpaid and paid accounts.
*Document collection efforts in each customer file.
*Provide weekly PMS A/R report with status and collection notes to GM and Controller.
*Send End of Month PMS A/R report with status and collection notes to the VP of Accounting, GM, and Controller.
*Some payroll assistance required.
*Assist with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
*Maintain a friendly and supportive demeanor at all times.
*Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines with accuracy and completeness.
*Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, with all levels of internal and external customers.
*Perform additional tasks are directed.
