We have a new career opportunity for aFood Retail Manager 1for St. Rita's Medical Center is a 400 bed acute care hospital located in Lima, Ohio and serving North Central Ohio. Sodexo healthcare provides food and nutrition services for patient dining, retail café operations, onsite catering and physicians dining. Facility is running Sodexo's At Your Request Room Service Meal Delivery System (AYR).
As our Food Retail Manager 1, you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of our retail cafe services at St Rita Medical Center. Responsibilities include:
- Implementing Sodexo retail food programs and practices
- Ensuring compliance with HACCP protocols and menu systems
- Cash management and cash controls
- Cafe opening and closing duties
- Onsite catering operations
- Position will also assume some frontline employee Human Resources duties
Qualifications for Food Operations Manager include computer literacy, full HACCP knowledge and ServSafe certification. Prior food service supervisory experience in a high volume retail cafe environment is preferred. Candidates should have high attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills

Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume General Manager's (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/Human Resources (HR) functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
