Sodexohas an excellent opportunity for an experiencedPatient Services Manager 2 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Located in the heart of the southern suburbs, 480-bed Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center provides many advanced health care services typically found in a university hospital setting. It is recognized nationally foradvanced cardiac careincluding a world-class open heart program,family-centered obstetrics, ajoint pain center and a Level II Trauma Center.


The preferred candidate for this position will have knowledge of Sodexo’s "At Your Request" patient room services program, experience with patient rounding, strong management leadership skills and the ability to manage. They will also have experience working directly with patients and has a strong knowledge of nutrition in a health care environment. Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated ability in team leadership and managing change to support the anticipated change in patient meals.


Knowledge of Sodexo systems is preferred.  The selected candidate will work a flexible schedule that will include some day, evening and weekend shifts. The Patient Services Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the patient tray line to include tray assessments, quality assurance, gold checks, meal rounds, scheduling, training and development of 50 employees.

Position Summary

Provides direction, guidance, and supervision/direction of patient hospitality employees at patient care units. Serves as senior and primary representative of patient care activities. Position takes an active role in finance/cost controls of patient meal services. Manages initiatives for job redesign and process improvement, including interdepartmental improvements with nursing staff.
