Do you have Health Touch Program Experience!! This role is for you

 

Sodexois seeking aPatient Services Manager 1 to join our food and nutrition team at Cooper University Hospital located in Camden, NJ. This is a Patient Ambassadorto theCall CenterandDiet Technician background is helpful. This is a 650 bed acute care facility-trauma center. This position will supervise 20 non-union employees in the call center for Room Service; it will also be responsible for patient rounding, test trays and for maintaining HealthTouch (our proprietary room service system). Responsible for 30/90 day evaluations, annual evaluations, monthly trainings, etc. with a full-service Cafe, Catering and Patient Meal services utilizing the"At Your Request"room service meal program.  In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and participating in all of the daily patient meal services.  Responsibilities will include: daily meal rounding directly interacting with the patients and nursing staff to ensure satisfaction, tray assessment/audits, identifying areas of process improvement, HR functions, scheduling and direct supervision of 35 non-union hourly associates.

 

The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years food management experience, computer literacy, a solid working knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines as well as excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.  A nutritional or dietetic background would be a plus for this role.

Position Summary

Provides direction, guidance, and supervision/direction of patient hospitality employees at patient care units. Manages initiatives for job redesign and process improvement, including interdepartmental improvements with nursing staff.
