We’re currently seekingHigh Performers,with a proven track record, for a high profile, large volume General Manager 5 opportunity in Houston, Texas. This position will report directly to the General Manager 6, and will be responsible forleveraging Sodexo systems, financial outcomes and patient satisfactionfor the food and nutrition services at this flagship medical center campus. This level 1 trauma center with 938 licensed beds and an average daily census of 785 is growing.  A 24-hour convenience store is slated to open in 2016, a new 165 bed patient tower under construction, which will house a new 333-seat retail operation, new production facility and patient kitchen. 


In this highly visible lead role, you will direct and participate in all the daily food contract operations including retail operations, catering, patient meal services utilizing “At Your Request”, a specialty patient service program for the Heart and Vascular Institute and “Signature Suites” services. The ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with client, hospital staff and consistent proven success of developing and managing a team are a must. 


Responsibilities include:

Working with unit financials and budgets, HR functions, payroll, strategic planning, special projects, marketing, training, cash management, quality assurance and regulatory compliance, direct client interaction and supervision of approximately 300 employees.  We are looking for a leader to raise the bar for patient satisfaction, retail satisfaction and customer service standards with experience in AYR, project management, cost containment and monitoring, management team development, food management controls, staffing development with a focus on accountability and service.
