Sodexois seeking anExecutive LevelGeneral Manager of Dining ServicesforLuther Manor, Wauwatosa, WI. This campus of Luther Manor is located just 15 minutes from downtown Milwaukee and Lake Michigan on 29 acres in suburban Wauwatosa.  This is a premier retirement community with over 600 Residents that offers many levels of dining and catered events; we also have “Chives American Grill”. 

 

The successful candidate directs all food production and service for all dining venues in; health care, adult day care, assisted living and independent living areas. Successful skill sets include; strong financial management, excellent written and verbal communication, effective leadership in managing clinical and operational managers, and experience in delivering trusting relationships within department and client organization. Position has an active role in managing the daily events related to dining, customer service, cost controls, and will provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively with other department services and several generations in the workplace to exceed resident and client expectations.

 

Ideal Candidate Skills / Certification:

Formal Degree/Trade School Certificate, Servsafe Certificate

Certified Dietary ManagerCertification required within 1 year of hire

Senior Dining/Health Care and Contract Food Service Management experience

P&L experience for 5 million in volume

HR skills to manage 2 Sodexo Managers who oversee 35 employees

Computer skills; Financial, Food & Labor Management Systems

Experience; food production, catering, retail, and quality standards

Menu Planning for residents, employee cafeteria, bistro, and catering

Working knowledge of HACCP monitors for Regulatory Compliance

Experience training and developing staff, coordinating customer service programs D

ynamic leadership skills for outcomes that exceed client and Resident expectations

 

Schedule will vary and include some weekends / holidays based on events.
