We’re currently seeking aGeneral Managerto join Sodexo in Napa, CA at Queen of the Valley Medical Center, an acute care facility with 179 licensed beds.

 

Queen of the Valley Medical Center is part of the St. Joseph’s Health System and is located in beautiful Napa Valley. The hospital combines the region's most qualified physicians and staff with the most advanced technology available.  Due to high standards of care, their programs have been recognized regionally and nationally for their demonstrated success of outcome and care which is par with university hospitals.

  

This position will report directly to our District Manager, and will be responsible for the day to day leadership of the food and nutrition services. Sodexo provides best in class services for patient dining, retail café operations, onsite catering and physician's dining.

 

Certified Dietary Manager credential, Registered Dietitian or equivalent education is required.

  

As our General Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Oversee all day to day food and nutrition services including our patient room service program

Integrate fully within our client's organization becoming a trusted advisor and member of the accounts leadership team.

Achieving company and client financial targets and goals

Conduct quality and safety audits

Work to achieve continuous improvement in patient satisfaction scores.

Meet (or exceed) Sodexo standards of operations

 

The ideal candidate will have prior General Management experience in a multi-faceted healthcare food service operation and the ability to successfully lead and develop a team as well as the ability to creatively and effectively problem solve and manage projects. Strong understanding of Sodexo branded concepts and operational standards. Ideal candidate must have the ability to manage and execute multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and have the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Candidates must be outgoing and able to interact with the client, customers as well as staff. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connection (TMC) or similar systems as well as proficient computer skills and report management experience. Candidates should have strong financial acumen and strong attention to company policy, standards, and regulations.
