Sodexois seeking aGeneral Manager (IV) / Dining DirectorforWoodland Pond in New Paltz, NY. This is a365 Resident Continuing Care Retirement Community located in the Village of New Paltz; 75 miles from NYC with easy access to the New York State Thruway. Dining services include: an open grill Bistro, Pub, and Restaurant Style Fine Dining.
Position manages; all dining services including a budget of 3 million, manages other managers who oversee 50 employees, Sodexo systems and standards, the HACCP and Safety Programs, Regulatory Compliance, and the Management & Employee Training Programs. Position requires strongexecutive level leadershipandoutstanding customer serviceskills for Resident and Client satisfaction and on-going program enhancements. Critical to your success in this role is aResiliencemanagement style and the ability to adapt well to challenges and be an effective change agent. Position requires a keen financial acumen to manage both Client & Sodexo budgets and to monitor costs relating to food, supplies, and labor.
Ideal Candidate Skills, Certification:
College Degree / Trade School Certificate, a Servsafe Certificate
Health Care and Sodexo Contract Food Service Management experience
Strong Culinary background, fine dining, and catering
P&L experience managing for 3 million in financial volume
Computer skills; financial, food, and labor management systems
Experience managing other managers and building teams
Experience enhancing programs and developing Client Relations
Experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Schedule may vary and may include some weekend / holiday coverage.
