Excellent opportunity for an experiencedFood Service Operations Manager 3 to join the Sodexo Health Care Food Service TeamatNorthwest Texas Health in Amarillo, Texas- a growing community within the Texas Panhandle. This Acute Care facility has annual patient days over 85,000 with a behavioral health facility connected.  A Café and Retail Food renovation is planned with anticipated sales of $1.9 million annually.  Sodexo’s At Your Request Room Service (AYR) is to be implemented with a focus on quality of food and service.  Sodexo’s Food Management System (FMS) and Market Connections tools and processes will be utilized.  The Operations Manager will support all areas of food service including patient meal service, retail food service and catering.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of food service preferable in a healthcare setting, knowledge of regulatory agency standards and compliance, demonstrated experience with financial operating budget with a passion for driving innovation while meeting performance targets.  The successful candidate will be a strong team leader, results-focused, with the ability to implement programs and train and develop a team of 22 food service staff.

Position Summary

Assumes General Manager’s (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Has direct client contact on day-to-day issues. Develops and Implements plans under the direction of a GM 5 or higher. Manages through managers. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
