We have a new career opportunity for aFood Operations Manager 2for St. Rita's Medical Center is a 400 bed acute care hospital located in Lima, Ohio and serving North Central Ohio. Sodexo healthcare provides food and nutrition services for patient dining, retail café operations, onsite catering and physicians dining. Facility is running Sodexo's At Your Request Room Service Meal Delivery System (AYR).
As our Food Operations Manager 2 you will primarily be responsible for managing the day to day operations ofSodexo's At Your Request Room Service Meal Delivery System (AYR) at St Rita Medical Center. Responsibilities include:
- Apply specialized nutrition knowledge gained a registered dietitian to make decisions on foods appropriate for serving on therapeutic diets.
- The Nutrition Services department provides patient meal service to patient rooms
- This position will manage 80 employees that work within the patient tray assembly and tray passing
Other duties will include overseeing all catered events as well as assisting with the management of retail services (cafeteria). Responsible for over 6 million in volume.
Qualifications for Food Operations Manager include computer literacy, full HACCP knowledge and ServSafe certification. Prior food service supervisory experience in a high volume retail cafe environment is preferred. Candidates should have high attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills
