KSU is a top 50 Institution where Sodexo has been contracted to provide food service for the Athletic Department Facilities, which includes all public areas, athlete and staff meals, and catering operations.
The Executive Chef will primarily be responsible for the Performance Training Table, which is state of the art and requires constant interaction with the client to ensure that the athletes needs for performance enhancing fuel are being met. The catering events are numerous and reflect the Flavours brand of Sodexo.
The Executive Chef will have partial P&L responsibilities, HACCP/Sanitation responsibilities, as well as responsibility for food/labor cost controls. Customer service and client relations/satisfaction are top priorities.

Designs, supervises, coordinates and participates in activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel in a small account. This position is recognized as the technical expert, teacher and trainer for other chefs and cooks within the account. Selects and develops recipes and other items for clients. Develops menu, implements and trains HACCP, oversees/purchases food, establishes production levels and inventory controls, interviews and hires new chefs, manages/controls food cost issues and offer solutions. May cook selected items, and plan or price menus. Typically has chefs and cooks reporting to this position.
