Chef Manager opportunity available within Corporate Services in Wilson, NC. The Chef Manager will oversee our corporate cafe, office coffee service, and catering for a progressive pharmaceutical white collar work force. This is a hands-on working chef position. The Chef Manager will lead a team of 7 employees, working side by side with his/her team on daily food production. Other responsibilities include ordering, inventory, and managing food/labor costs. The Chef Manager will have daily interaction with our customers and clients. Excellent customer service and client relations skills are a must!!!
Work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4pm!!!Position Summary
Supervises cooks and oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food. Estimates food consumption and purchases food. May assist in cooking and preparing food as necessary. Responsible for maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. Responsible for cash management. Interacts with client/customers on a regular basis. This position is the leader for an account/unit chef/production group. This position is in smaller accounts/units where there is not a Executive Chef or Food Production Manager. Reports to General Manager.
