Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a talented Chef Manager to join our team at Bose Corporation in Framingham, MA. Bose is a global leader in the sound technology market and Sodexo operates 6 on-site Cafes in Framingham, Westborough, and Stow MA.
The Chef Manager will have overall responsibility for Culinary at 1 primary location and support the 5 other units as required. Duties include but not limited to: managing a team of 8 hourly employees, menu planning, ordering, inventory, food/labor cost, and creating high quality food with exceptional presentation. Sodexo's ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, a proven ability to lead a team and an engaging and customer centric personality.Position Summary
Supervises cooks and oversees the preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food. Estimates food consumption and purchases food. May assist in cooking and preparing food as necessary. Responsible for maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. Responsible for cash management. Interacts with client/customers on a regular basis. This position is the leader for an account/unit chef/production group. This position is in smaller accounts/units where there is not a Executive Chef or Food Production Manager. Reports to General Manager.
