This role oversees all dining outlets, banquet operations, lounges, restaurant in-room, and culinary/stewarding operations, ensuring a world-class guest experience while aligning with the hotel’s overall business objectives. The Director collaborates with senior leadership to develop innovative food and beverage strategies, enhance revenue opportunities, and uphold the highest service and quality standards.

Storeroom and Receiving Attendant

Responsible for properly receiving, storing and issuing of all food and beverage, non-perishable and Birchstreet items for the Omni Chicago property.

Executive Chef

Overall responsibility for the efficient andeffective running of the kitchen and food production outlets, ensuring operatingcosts are minimized. Responsible for the execution of all Omni Hotel andcompany policies/procedures, ensuring that all services provided achieve theestablished standards, within the agreed budgetary controls. To advise the Food and Beverage Director onall matters relating to the kitchen area. In conjunction with the Executive Steward, ensure a high standard ofcleanliness and hygienic practice throughout the kitchen.

Doorperson

The Doorperson represents the hotel at themain entrance by greeting guests in an enthusiastic and courteous manner.Maintains driveway traffic flow to allow main hotel entrance accessibility aswell as to ensure ample space for passenger and luggage loading and unloadingand offers luggage assistance to all guests. Must be available to work weekends.

To prepare all hot/cold food items. Be responsible for consistency and quality production and ensure all food is served according to specification.

Banquet Set-Up / Houseperson

To ensure the function room is set according to guest expectation and Omni standards. This position will set up, breakdown, and clean all space associated with banquets and conventions.

Room Attendant
(Housekeeping)
This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in each guest room. Guest Room Attendants refresh rooms for guests who are continuing their stay, as well as, thoroughly clean rooms of guests who have checked out in preparation for the next guest checking in. This position will alsowill provide turndown services of guest rooms, occasional full servicing of guest rooms and complete any additional duties as assigned by the PM Supervisor/Managerin accordance with Omni standards.
