• Senior Sales Manager (Sales & Marketing)

  Job Overview:Faro Blanco Courtyard is seeking a motivated and experienced SeniorSales Manager to lead our sales efforts in a hybrid role that offers a blend of on-property presence and remote work flexibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships to help grow our business and maximize revenue.

• Event Manager (Meetings/Events)

  •    Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company’s business operations.•    Helps ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Sales department.•    Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all Shaner Hotels, franchise, and hotel/departmental policies and procedures.•    Monitor staff performance in all phases of service and job functions, ensuring that all procedures are carried out to departmental standards; rectify any deficiencies with respective personnel.•    Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to function, make introduction and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable.•    Coordinate group's requests for additions/changes to scheduled arrangements and in accordance with departmental standards.•    Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry.•    Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.•    Meet with clients to work out the details of their functions.  Escort clients through the property and highlight features of facility as well as available services.ResponsibilitiesThe Event Manager is responsible for all details regarding all conventions in house, while servicing and being available to the clients while on the property. This position requires a high level of positive attitude with a strong belief in service; Responsible for the management of all aspects of the Convention Services department in accordance with hotel standards; Coordinates and details client’s functions and maintains budgeted revenues through successful completion of clients functions; Directs, implements and maintains a management philosophy which serves as a guide to Convention Services staff. 

• Dishwasher - Blue Waters (Chefs/Kitchen)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and hotel requirements. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely.  Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated items, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.

• Food Runner - Blue Waters (Chefs/Kitchen)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department. Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.  Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.  Other duties as assigned.

• Server - Blue Waters (Food & Beverage)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department. Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.  Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.  Other duties as assigned.

• National Sales Manager (Sales & Marketing)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company’s business operations. Helps ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Sales department. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all Shaner Hotels, franchise, and hotel/departmental policies and procedures, ensuring that Sales team is informed as well. Be knowledgeable and understanding of current customers and accounts, particularly those corporations, agencies, associations, tour operations, sports teams, and other groups or organizations who purchase hotel services. Helps determine and implement what additional business or market segments the hotel should pursue. Establish special packages or programs to boost occupancy during slow periods, and creating advertising through newspaper, direct mail, billboards, etc. in support of these programs. Attend trade shows, chamber of commerce or civic events, and other local organizations in support of hotel sales. Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, and staff. • Blue Waters Bartender (Bartender/Mixologist)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department. Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.  Maintains and abides by standards and procedures for operations and safe working conditions in the department.  Responsible for responding and handling guest related issues pertaining to the department.  Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.  Other duties as assigned.

• Banquet Server (Catering/Banquet)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company’s business operations. Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications. Greet guests as they arrive and assist them with seating at tables. Take and retrieve guests' alcoholic beverage orders, utilizing suggestive selling techniques, when specified on function requirements. Serve all food courses and non-alcoholic beverage items to the guest in accordance with departmental standards and function requirements. Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests; always maintain positive guest relations. Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. Handle guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas. Other duties as assigned.

• Front Desk Agent (Guest Services)

• Night Auditor (Guest Services)

  ResponsibilitiesThe Night Auditor is responsible for attending to the needs of guests, balancing the revenue and expense transactions that occurred during the day, and performing all the functions of the front desk staff during the audit shift.  The Night Auditor will possess good communications and guest service skills and have the ability to take appropriate action to meet and exceed guest expectations.Qualifications

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.  Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.  Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping procedures, and security procedures.  Cleans and services assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards.  Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.  Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.

• Guest Room Attendant (Housekeeping)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.  Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.  Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.  Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.  Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.  Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled. • Blue Waters Line Cook (Chefs/Kitchen)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Creates and designs new and unique menu items.  Assists the Executive Chef in the establishment of department budgets and the adherence to budget guidelines. Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to hotel standards. Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the culinary preventative maintenance programs. Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the kitchen areas, associates, and guests.

• Beverage Supervisor - Blue Water Restaurant (Food & Beverage)

  Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and hotel requirements.  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available.  Establishes, maintains, and trains standards and procedures for operations and safe working conditions in the department. Assists with implementing short- and long-range financial objectives for the Food and Beverage Department consistent with property objectives. Assist with training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
