• Spa Attendant (Spa)

  The Spa Attendant's role is to ensure that the spa facility exceeds guest expectation for cleanliness and is properly stocked with all amenities. The Spa Attendant will be aware of guest appointments and flow of business so they can be proactive in cleaning and the clearing of the locker rooms, relaxation area and hydrotherapy area after every use. The Spa Attendant will primarily service the MALE LOCKER ROOMS.

• Housekeeping Supervisor (Housekeeping)

  Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pools after being cleaned by the Housekeeping staff to ensure quality standards are met. Position directs and works with managers and employees to carry out procedures for a clean resort. Ensures guest and employee satisfaction and maximizes the financial performance of the department. Availability of PM shifts is needed

• Member Billing Accounting Specialist (Finance/Accounting)

  To provide financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate collections of accounts receivables for three separate entities to include resort membership receivables. Full-Service Hotel or Resort Experience required.

• Restaurant Server (Food & Beverage)

  The Pony Room was recognized in the top 100 Hotel/resort restaurants in the country. We serve guests food and beverage in a gracious professional manner. Provide a comfortable, exceptional dining experience through the consistent implementation of our existing steps of service. Maintain and improve check averages to ensure the financial success of the operation.

• Restaurant Host or Hostess (Food & Beverage)

  Serve as consistent point of contact for restaurant outlets. Courteously greets and escorts guests to assigned tables and assist in seating, ensuring existing standards of service. Answering phone calls as necessary with the highest level of professional language in a calm, clear and concise manner. Make, change and maintain restaurant reservations as necessary.

• Pastry Cook (Chefs/Kitchen)

  The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing and planning of sweet items, pastries, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, breads and chocolates for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as various specialty items for amenities and special functions. Maintains established quality standards. Knows assigned menus and be able to assist other employees. Is flexible and willing to perform any task to better service. Openly accepts and positively responds to changing environment. Practices cooperation and work effectively with others.

• Sous Chef (Chefs/Kitchen)

  Sous Chef is responsible for running a specific culinary outlet on a daily basis under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef. Maintain established quality standards. Developing and driving a positive work environment. Improving guest and employee satisfaction and maximizing revenues. Oversee preparing and plating of all menu items, special requests and opening/closing duties of assigned outlet. This position will have a heavy focus on Banquets and assisting the banquet chef.

• Banquet Cook (Catering/Banquet)

  Under the guidance of the Banquet Chef, the Banquets Cook is responsible for assisting the Banquet chef in managing the culinary program for private events, and the employee Café. The person in this role ensures, consistently high-quality food product, assists in developing and leading a positive work environment while ensuring guest and employee satisfaction and maximizing revenues. The person in this role works with the Banquet Event Orders, places orders for the product needed for the events as needed, and responds well to event changes that may occur. This position will also execute holiday production for buffet events, as well as work in the restaurants to provide coverage or assistance as needed.

• Banquets Server - Casual (Catering/Banquet)

  Provides food and beverage service to the guest in a gracious professional manner. Provides a comfortable, exceptional dining experience through the consistent implementation of our existing steps of service.

• Banquets Bartender: Casual (Catering/Banquet)

  The primary function of a bartender is to provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality cocktails to our guests. The bartender serves beverages in a professional manner, provides sincere service through actions that display self-confidence, grace and courtesy.

• Engineer General Maintenance Technician (Engineering/Maintenance)

  Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains machines, equipment, plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems. A maintenance technician keeps all structures in working order through maintenance and repairs. Some duties include pipe fitting, insulating, boiler making, welding, carpentry, machining, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, installing new equipment, and repairing walls, floors and stairs.

• Steward (Dishwasher) (Chefs/Kitchen)

  Steward is responsible for washing and cleaning glass, China, silver, pots, pans and cooking equipment by machine and hand. Keeps the dish/pot washing area and equipment clean and organized. Additionally cares for and minimize breakage of all such equipment and completes any cleaning projects as advised by the Chef. The position is to support the kitchen during the dinner service, availability from 2pm to close.

• Esthetician (Spa)

  Performs professional facial and waxing services in a safe and professional manner and in accordance with Rancho Valencia protocol and California State Board requirements. Provide uncompromised attention to guest/member service. Must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in Rancho Valencia’s specific menu of spa treatments. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide skincare programs personalized to each of our guests. Must hold and maintain a current California state license.

• Fitness Instructor (Recreation/Entertainment)

  The Fitness Instructor is a service-driven wellness professional responsible for delivering safe, effective, and consistently exceptional fitness experiences to Rancho Valencia guests and members. The role may include personal training, group fitness instruction, or both, based on individual qualifications and business needs. All services must be provided in alignment with Rancho Valencia’s luxury service standards, professionalism, and commitment to guest well-being.

• Junior Tennis Pro (Recreation/Entertainment)

  To provide tennis clinics and other assigned activities for 5 to 12 years old for the tennis after school program. The person in this role is an expert in the game, is qualified to teach and coach and is always engaging with the guest and member. The tennis staffs are responsible for contributing to the overall tennis experience as well as being an active participant in the overall property goals of offering a unique and outstanding guest and member experience.
