• Banquet Houseperson (Catering/Banquet)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company’s business operations. Set up and break down function rooms and event spaces based on group specifications and hotel standards. Refresh banquet rooms throughout events according to the schedule and service expectations. Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of all banquet equipment and service areas. Maintain safe food and beverage handling practices in alignment with hotel, brand, and company policies. Collaborate with team members to provide seamless event service and support. Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs, delivering outstanding customer service at all times. Stay knowledgeable about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to assist guests with inquiries. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Loss Prevention Manager (Security)

  The Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety, security, and asset protection at the Marriott Resort in Key Largo. This role ensures the safety of guests, employees, and property by implementing and managing effective loss prevention strategies, emergency procedures, and compliance with local and federal regulations. This position will be required to work weekends and holidays.

• Engineer (Engineering/Maintenance)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.  Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.  Observes all house and safety rules, departmental procedures, and security procedures.  Assist with inventories as scheduled. Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule. Other duties as assigned.

• Server (Food & Beverage)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department. Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.  Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.  Other duties as assigned.

• Lounge Bartender (Bartender/Mixologist)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department. Maintains food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications.  Maintains and abides by standards and procedures for operations and safe working conditions in the department.  Responsible for responding and handling guest related issues pertaining to the department.  Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.  Other duties as assigned.

• Guest Room Attendant (Housekeeping)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.  Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.  Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.  Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.  Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.  Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled. • Line Cook (Chefs/Kitchen)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Creates and designs new and unique menu items.  Assists the Executive Chef in the establishment of department budgets and the adherence to budget guidelines. Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to hotel standards. Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the culinary preventative maintenance programs. Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the kitchen areas, associates, and guests.

• Pool - Towel Attendant (Recreation/Entertainment)

Observes and patrols pool enforcing safety regulations. Greet all guests upon arrival, distribute towels, offer assistance with seating.  Exceed guest expectations, even the unexpressed. Willing to take ownership of all guest requests and complaints, try to resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction. Identify and report defects throughout the pool area, notify supervisors and concerned departments immediately of hazards, injuries, equipment or processes that negatively affect the operations. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of pool deck and facilities including straightening and stacking chairs & collecting soiled towels and trash throughout the shift. Facilitate and maintain consistent pool safety programs, training and documentation to ensure the overall safety of guests in the pool area. Properly utilize performance feedback, recognition, training, and adherence to company policies, legal requirements. • Catering Sales Manager (Sales & Marketing)

Assists the Director of Catering and/or Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Catering Department. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all Shaner Hotels, franchise, and hotel/departmental policies and procedures, ensuring that Catering team is informed as well. Meet with clients to work out the details of their functions. Escort clients through the property and highlight features of facility as well as available services. Suggestively sell menus, which meet the clients’ needs and maximize revenues. Welcome group contact upon arrival at function and ensure guest satisfaction. Contact clients after scheduled functions to ensure guest satisfaction and to solicit for re-booking. Actively solicit and book business following hotel standards. Attend designated meetings (BEO Meetings, Departmental Meetings, Staff Meeting), menu and wine tastings. Keep abreast of current market trends and research competitors. Project a professional image of the hotel. Coordinates and maintains effective relations with other departments in hotel to maintain excellent guest service and to promote programs.

• Event Manager (Meetings/Events)

  The Event Manager is responsible for all details regarding all conventions in house, while servicing and being available to the clients while on the property. This position requires a high level of positive attitude with a strong belief in service; Responsible for the management of all aspects of the Convention Services department in accordance with hotel standards; Coordinates and details client’s functions and maintains budgeted revenues through successful completion of clients functions; Directs, implements and maintains a management philosophy which serves as a guide to Convention Services staff.

• Front Desk Agent (Guest Services)

  Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.  Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.  Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.  Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.  Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.  Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.  Other duties as assigned. Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.  Computer experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele. 

• Cleaner (Housekeeping)

Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely.  Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated items, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
