Overview
Vizz Group LLC is a privately held hospitality company based in New York City, operating Grand Brasserie, a large French restaurant located in the historic Vanderbilt Hall of Grand Central Terminal. The group was founded and is led by a veteran entrepreneur in the hospitality industry.
Grand Brasserie opened in 2024 as a flagship project for Vizz Group, occupying a sprawling 16,000-square-foot space with seating for up to 400 guests—making it one of the largest dining establishments in New York City. The restaurant is situated at 89 East 42nd Street, inside Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall, a landmark location that blends the historic grandeur of the terminal with Parisian-inspired design elements.
The interior features high ceilings, marble floors, and original 1913 architectural details, complemented by contemporary touches such as circular red banquettes and modern lighting. The ambiance aims to evoke the timeless elegance of a classic French brasserie while serving the diverse needs of commuters, tourists, and locals.
Grand Brasserie offers a menu rooted in classic French cuisine, with modern interpretations and a focus on high-quality ingredients. The menu is extensive, featuring:
• French brasserie staples (steak frites, croque monsieur, duck confit)
• Brunch specialties served daily from 5:30 AM to 3 PM
• Prix fixe lunch menu
• Caviar service and seafood towers
• Decadent desserts and a curated, six-page wine list
The restaurant is open seven days a week, with service from early morning (5:30 AM) until late at night (2 AM), catering to a wide range of dining occasions from business meetings to late-night meals.
