Position Summary:

The Loews Philadelphia Hotel is seeking an Overnight Linen Attendant to join our team. Loews Philadelphia Hotel offers supremely comfortable 581 guest rooms, including 12 suites and 54 concierge club rooms, all of which are luxuriously appointed and are furnished to suit the needs of both families and business travelers. The Overnight Linen Attendant is a key player of our Housekeeping department and will work with fellow Housekeeping team members to deliver a supremely comfortable product.

More specifically, job duties include:

  • Takes regular daily inventories of linen supplies on assigned floors
  • Ensures that linen is delivered to the maid's carts
  • Delivers a quality product to the guest in a friendly and professional manner and in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Consistently maintains a friendly positive attitude that ensures positive guest experience and giving recognition to returning guests.
  • Report to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, and in accordance with the company‚Äôs personal appearance standards.
  • Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures as set forth by the Housekeeping Department.
  • Deliver all clean linen to all the buildings, making sure distribution is done equally.
  • In charge of delivering all dirty linen in buildings to the laundry depot.
  • Responsible for keeping all linen closets stocked and organized.
  • Helping with guest deliveries and bringing supplies from storeroom as needed.
  • Perform all other duties as directed by management that are within the polices and procedure of the company.
  • Notifies immediate supervisors promptly and fully of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Is polite, friendly, and helpful to the guests, management, and fellow employees
  • Attends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
  • Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment, and work area.
  • Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Complies with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Complies with hotel policies and rules.
  • Recycles whenever possible
  • Remains current with hotel information and changes.
  • Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous housekeeping experience an asset.
  • Basic English skills required.
  • Must be able to push cart weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • This position requires bending, lifting, and stooping.
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be customer-service orientated and have excellent hospitality skills.
