The hospitality industry felt the crunch when the global financial crisis hit in 2007. Corporate budgets were cut and fancy events were canceled. Today, the corporate world is again entertaining and this is seen in the increased number of new hires. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment rose by 45,000 in leisure and hospitality over the month in April.
