Leading National Restaurant & Hotel Associations Extend Agreements with Hcareers for 2 Years

Success of Current Partnerships Seal Extended Agreement Renewal

North Vancouver, BC - Jul 28, 2004: Hcareers, the leading job board for the restaurant and hospitality industry announced today that it has renewed existing partnerships with both the National Restaurant Association and American Hotel & Lodging Association for an additional two years.

For the past several years, Hcareers has provided both hotel and restaurant association members an online recruitment resource specifically for their industry. As part of both agreements, Hcareers will continue to offer association members a discount on job postings, in addition to the associated benefits of using the biggest hospitality job board on the Internet; access to the largest pool of hospitality candidates, reduced hiring cycle, and lowered cost per hire.

All jobs posted on Hcareers.com by association members are also cross-posted to the corresponding national association Career Center and the participating state association Career Center, all powered by Hcareers, creating the country's largest restaurant and hotel specific online employment sites. The National Restaurant Association Job Bank is located at www.restaurant.org/careers/ and the American Hotel & Lodging Association Career Center can be found online at www.ahla.com/careers.

"Our extended partnership renewals with the two premier hotel and restaurant associations in North America are a testimony to the value Hcareers brings to the hospitality industry," says David Curry, president and CEO of Hcareers. "The National Restaurant Association and American Hotel & Lodging Association both chose Hcareers to align with over all other job boards in the marketplace, including leading general employment sites like Monster," Curry added, "a clear indication that Hcareers provides the most hospitality job seeker traffic on the Net."

"The National Restaurant Association initially selected Hcareers in 2002 as its preferred online recruiting partner after a comparative analysis determined that Hcareers was the industry leader in terms of number of jobs and volume of job seeker traffic," says Steven C. Anderson, president and CEO of the National Restaurant Association. "Over the past two years Hcareers has proven to our members that they are the number one job board for the restaurant industry; therefore, we are very pleased to extend our agreement. Hcareers offers our members the most cost-effective solution to solving our recruitment challenges. They are a perfect fit for us."

"American Hotel & Lodging Association is proud to renew our existing partnership with Hcareers and are confident in our recommendation to American Hotel & Lodging Association members to use Hcareers as their first point of recruitment advertising," says Joseph McInerney, CHA, president and CEO of American Hotel & Lodging Association. "Hcareers has helped us build the biggest lodging association Careers Center on the web, and currently provide our members with access to the largest pool of hospitality candidates nationwide."

Job seekers can search for hospitality jobs by multiple search criteria including industry and geographical location, in addition to posting their resume online and replying directly to jobs posted by hospitality employers nationwide.
