The company generated more than $350,000 in North American and United Kingdom revenues. This compares to $200,000 during the same period in 2001.
More and more companies are using online job boards, like Hcareers, in the recruitment process. IDC states that the worldwide e-recruiting services market grew 53% in 2001 to $2.8 billion. According to Goldman Sachs1, this can be attributed to the reduction in advertising costs. For example, a 30-day classified advertisement in a major metropolitan newspaper costs, on average, $3,295 versus an average of $167 for a listing to remain on one of the major job boards for 30 days.
