JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary of Position: Assist guests with their luggage upon arrival and departure.
Primary Functions:
* Assist all arriving and departing guests of hotel by proper handling of luggage.
* Provide information to guests and patrons regarding hotel facilities and directions.
Specific Accountabilities:
1. Welcome guests in a proper manner.
2. Deliver guests' packages, faxes and extra keys.
3. Escort guests to their rooms and show room amenities.
4. Store and tag luggage as requested by guests.
5. Facilitate switching of guestrooms.
6. Responsible for not leaving luggage and front door unattended.
7. Provide feedback and guest experience.
8. Perform other duties as requested.
Required Skills/ Qualifications:
* Good Communication Skills.
* Customer service oriented.
* Flexible to work schedules.
* Willing to work as a team member.
* Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to be standing on your feet for at least 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week.
* Periodically fast paced strides are required to go from one part of property to other.
* Must regularly lift/carry/move 60 pounds of force.
* Must be able to be exposure to Miami hot sun to attend guest upon arrival and departure.
