Job Details
Assists in the purchasing of all food & beverage goods, and all

hotel's materials, supplies, and equipment. 

Ensures that goods delivered are up to standards and expectations,

that they are properly and adequately stored and maintained.

Ensures inventories control: timely issues of goods as per company

procedures and stocks maintained to par levels and goods

reordered on time.

Ensures adherence to Safe & Sound Group's policy relative to the

department.

Replaces the Director of Purchasing during her

absences.                         

Hotel School Diploma or equivalent or Purchasing certification.

HACCP certification preferred.

Previous hotel/restaurant experience desirable.

Successful candidates must possess the following requirements:

Knowledge and understanding of purchasing, shipping, receiving and inventory operations as well as regulatory food handling procedures and goods in general.

Fluent in French & English          

Computer literate.                                                                      

Presenting a well-groomed, organized and businesslike appearance.

Punctual and reliable.

Able to perform the physical tasks of the job: push/pull/carry/lift up to 60 lbs.; walk/stand for 6+hours per day.
