Be a part of a spectacular event! As a Coat Check with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts you will help to create a special event that our Guests will remember. Your ability to work as a team player combined with your engaging personality will ensure that our Guests have a memorable experience.
Hotel Overview: The Fairmont Olympic is considered Seattle's most celebrated treasure, and a premier luxury hotel. Since opening in 1924, The Olympic has been the region's destination for prominent civic and social events, as well as honeymoons, birthday celebrations and in-city getaways.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Banquet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
* Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
* Greets Guests
* Hangs coats & retrieves during guest functions
* Maintains the work area clean & organized
* Is an ambassador for the hotel & The Fairmont Brand
* Provides courteous directions upon request
* Has the hability to stand for long periods of time
* Is able to work nights and weekends

Two years of customer service experience preferred
* Must be self-motivating, a team player and have a high level of guest service orientation
* Must have excellent verbal & written English communication skills
* Other projects as directed by Supervisor
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to ):
* Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Visa Requirements: Must be able to provide or obtain authorization to work in the United States
Two years of customer service experience preferred
* Must be self-motivating, a team player and have a high level of guest service orientation
* Must have excellent verbal & written English communication skills
* Other projects as directed by Supervisor
