Plan, develop and implement recruitment and staffing strategies for assigned departments with special emphasis on sourcing a well qualified and diverse pool of candidate in a timely and effective manner. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide a high level of customer service and guidance to the departmental hiring managers by consulting with them on recruitment and staffing issues, policies and processes. Establish, cultivate, and maintain ongoing relationships with departmental hiring managers in order to understand the business unit and its recruitment needs within the context of their mission and operational standards. Develop and maintain a strong rapport with key leaders in the department; attend departmental staff and other meetings as requested to acquire substantial knowledge that will enable to hire for the department's business objectives, goals, operations and work standards. Provide counsel and expertise in the areas of recruitment and staffing. (e.g., search firms, and advertising, networks, interview training, recruitment processes). Develop recruitment plan based on department needs that clearly define and commit to service and performance criteria; develop and review diversity plan with focused recruiting strategies; influence strategic staffing decisions such as succession planning, training and career development. Execute recruitment plan by aggressively recruiting for the best qualified candidates from a variety of sources, managing the selection process to include interviewing, assessing candidates, screening, and recommending the best final candidates...and ...filling the staffing needs within a defined timeline. Provide information on a variety of human resource topics and partner with all other HR departments to understand the most updated information and to provide that to the operator. (Compensation pay ranges, benefit info, payroll info, and Orientation information). Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and the position. (Realistic information so that they know what to expect if they are hired into the position). Coach and counsel hiring managers regarding interview techniques, targeted questions, and analyzing data of successful hires. Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in the recruiting process. Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in recruiting practices. Promote Orange Lake at a variety of recruitment functions such as Job Fairs, University and College career days, and career events targeted for specific populations related to the needs of OL. Collect and analyze data from demographics and hiring activity for use in designing recruitment plans. Facilitate company presentations at colleges, facilitate college classes, attend student group meetings and increase college awareness of the company before and after visits. Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates. Leverage on line recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the best candidates Build networks to find qualified passive candidates and create contacts within the industry(Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings). Perform other related duties incidental to the work described above. Manage and report out on all metrics related to hiring activity. |
| Job Requirements: | A flexible schedule for this role is required. That is to include weekends, a variety of different shifts (Including both am and pm shifts) and the availability and flexibility to travel is imperative. This candidate needs to be flexible and available to meet the best candidates for the positions at a variety of times and locations.
Ability to influence the decision making process to select the best candidate for all positions at all levels. Ability to meet all production requirements Education: Completion of a Bachelor's Degree is required Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience working with hiring leaders on recruiting is preferred.
