POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Loyalty Marketing in developing and evaluating plans to maximize revenue and growth potential from the loyalty program and to analyze data on revenue performance, customer behavior patterns, and market research to identify how and where revenue growth can be improved.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 
* Assemble, manipulate, analyze and improve on research used to track patterns or trends within and across data sets. 
* Assist in developing strategies to acquire new members, increase productivity of existing members, reduce attrition and "win back" members who have left the program or are likely to attrite.
* Identify program enhancements and marketing opportunities to ensure program growth.
* Build models to project and evaluate revenues, costs, and profit/ROI from marketing campaigns.
* Develop financial projections for annual marketing plan for Loyalty division.
* Assist in defining and evaluating key strategic and tactical marketing issues in growing revenue while identifying opportunities and marketing strategies.
* Coordinate with Accounting Department on ways to analyze efficiencies of existing financial models, business rules and practices for loyalty/past guest program.
* Assist with other projects identified by senior management, including providing analytical support for revenue analysis, market research, accounting liability projections, etc.     

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business.  MBA degree a plus.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
* 8+ years work experience in marketing and/or consumer consulting, quantitative market research, financial analysis and applied statistics.

MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have very strong Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, graphics, and database manipulation) and demonstrated experience in building, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets using either Microsoft Access or SAS.  Solid knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint helpful.  Experience with Cognos and other front end tools desirable.
* Must have elevated understanding of advance statistical skills used in predictive modeling and database marketing.
* Ability to be intellectually curious, have strong self-initiative, work well with limited supervision and structure, be detail-oriented, have strong ability to focus.
