OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:
Rosewood Sand Hill is seeking a top Catering Sales
Manager with extensive sales experience in the luxury
wedding & special events market. The Catering Sales
Manager is responsible for the sale, execution and
organization of the social catering segment.
Skills & Preferred Qualifications:
The ability to actively solicit and book events from
multiple sources & leads, Must be able to perform job
functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy;
prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker,
remaining calm and resolving problems using good
judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a
guest?s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers
as part of a team; work with minimal supervision;
maintain confidentiality of guest information and
pertinent hotel data. Excellent reading, writing and
oral proficiency in the English language. Strong
selling, customer development and relationship
management skills. Must be very creative and detail
oriented.
Knowledge of accommodating room capacities; ability to
ensure proper utilization of function space to yield
maximum revenues, ability to manage guest room blocks
and meeting space inventories, knowledge of menu
planning and all aspects of banquet and event services
operations, knowledge of event/ audio visual technology
products and services and the latest trends in event
planning, familiarity with cost controls
3+ years management experience required, preferably in a
luxury environment
Bachelor's degree preferred
