Job Description
Perform general repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including but not limited to; carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, painting, finish work, etc. Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established hotel area down times in order to minimize inconveniencing guests. Effectively interact with department managers is required. Respond to guest room and other maintenance or guest or hotel operations support calls as required. Complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance work orders. Must, in the course of routine duties, act diligently to observe any needed building maintenance issues, report same to department management, and take initiative to correct the observed deficiencies. Must be capable of changes in work efforts between multiple assignments as needed throughout each work shift. Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment both independently and with others. Must be proficient in evaluating mechanical and other reported or assigned maintenance work orders and taking appropriate corrective actions to resolve the issues in an expedient, competent and professional manner.
Requirements
Experience Must have minimum of three years hands-on experience working on minor electrical, painting, plumbing and a/c repairs. Hotel experience preferred.
