Job Description

Scope:

The Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the company's financial programs by providing guidance and interpretation to managers, supervisors and employees.

Primary Responsibilities:

Analyzing profitability for all managed hotels.

Benchmarking performance/cost comparisons between all hotels.

Creating and delivering presentations for internal Sr. Leadership and external owners.

Building and Analyzing reporting metrics in Cognos business intelligence tool.

Supports the forecasting and budgeting process for all managed hotels.

Creating and projecting performance through 5 year proformas on current and potential management contracts.

Involved in analyzing and critiquing of brand initiatives and costs.

Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Pillar Hotels & Resorts.

Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or corporate management.

Relationships:

Internal: Sr. Leadership, Accounting, IT, Employee Services, Capital and Hotel Operations

External: Field employees of all levels and external owners

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with some emphasis in Finance/Accounting with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Strong quantitative aptitude exemplified through grades in finance, accounting, math, and statistics.
Excellent analytical and computational skills with an advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Aptitude for data reporting tool methodology and fundamentals required.
Excellent organizational, project and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and fluently with a diverse group, including executives, managers and subject matter experts.
Ability to manage shifting, and sometimes competing, priorities and deadlines.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters related to employee compensation.

Will be required to work in fast paced environment.
