The director of Marketing is an integral part of a team dedicated to enhancing the Sunrise brand through an alignment with our mission and values. We are seeking a dynamic and creative leader to manage our corporate marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

The director of Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of corporate marketing initiatives. The position oversees the day-to-day management of marketing channels, systems and promotions for approximately 350 communities in the US and Canada, as well as overall corporate branding. Channels include internet, external as well as internal referrals, direct marketing and media. In addition, the director of Marketing will focus on managing collateral development and inventories, sales support systems, vendor relationships, as well as crafting and executing promotions to drive sales. 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

* A minimum of seven (7) years consumer-oriented, strategic and brand-driven experience; healthcare industry preferred, but not required
* History of consistently delivering business results
* Demonstrated track record of accomplishments in marketing and planning business-to-consumer marketing channels
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Masters preferred
* Experience evaluating business trends, and developing and successfully implementing new programs and strategies that enhance individual community (facility) as well as company performance
* Experience in progressive e-marketing techniques such as SED, SEM, Social Networking, and Email Markets
* Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment
* Must balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines
* Strong creative talent and problem-solving skills
* Ability to foster collaboration between sales and operating teams
* Excellent oral and written communications skills
