Oakwood Worldwide, the leading provider of temporary furnished and serviced apartments across the country, is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead a busy house wares and housekeeping operation in the Bay Area from our location in Hayward. We are seeking a motivational leader with a passion for customer service, forecasting ability, and strong training skills.
***This position requires candidates to be bilingual (Spanish/English). Part of the interview may be conducted in Spanish.*** Our Home Services Division provides apartment set-up, housekeeping and related services to our furnished apartments. Additionally, this division oversees our warehouse operations and employs utility workers, warehousemen and drivers. A successful Assistant Branch Manager at Oakwood has a "can do" attitude and will roll up his/her sleeves, jump in, and be a hands-on leader. In this role, you will lead and direct the Home Services team to achieve revenue, budget and customer satisfaction goals by ensuring our standards of service delivery are maintained. Some Responsibilities Include: * Exceeding expectations of guests and clients * Managing competing tasks and working within tight deadlines * Coaching, disciplining, and terminating Associates * Overseeing warehouse operations, fleet servicing, and housekeeping * Occasionally lifting and moving up to 50 pounds * Developing, implementing, and managing Associate schedules * Quality management including inspecting field locations * Decision making for daily activities, reporting to the Branch Manager . Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred * 5+ years hotel or service related management experience * Experience managing teams of 10 or more * Professional and polished customer service and communication skills * Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Possess a valid driver's license * Open to future relocation for promotion a plus Oakwood Worldwide offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package.
