We expect minimum two year experience working with Leisure Russian market.
Scope and Range
* Responsible for Russian Leisure Market (Individual, Tour Operator, Wholesalers and Luxury Group Tour Series) and achieving the Total Leisure room revenue as laid out in the Business Plan.
* Responsible for Marketing Plan ideas to maximize Leisure Market revenue.
* To ensure department achieves hotel and departmental standards for Legendary Quality Experiencing.
Duties
* Together with the Director of Sales & Marketing, to implement agreed rate structure and strategy for all market segments.
* To establish and maintain effective working relations both within the department and with other departments.
* To attend select trade and travel functions, i.e. trade shows and to promote sales and image for the hotel.
* To plan and where appropriate, execute sales trips to major market areas, reporting new potential markets that should be considered.
* To provide feedback and market information to the Director of Sales & Marketing relating to changing market conditions, including trends in competition by carrying out sales solicitation, telephone, reading material and interacting with competitive hotel staff. Also, to analyze and review these changes with the Director of Sales & Marketing, implementing programs with the Sales team to meet these changes in all market segments.
* To maintain close relationships with all key decision-makers both in local and international markets.
* To organize and accompany major guests on familiarization trips and hotel site inspections
* To regularly entertain major clients of the hotel.
* To plan entertain clients of the hotel.
* To maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in the major marketing areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone and written communications.
* To assist in executing the annual training plan for Reservation and Front Office Staff in regards to Leisure Market.
* To designate, train and develop reservation agent to specialize in Leisure Travel
* To conduct rate negotiations and to finalize contracts with major travel and corporate accounts in co-ordination with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
* To explore new markets and potential accounts.
* To pay regular visits to all major accounts.
* With the Director of Sales and Marketing, to work closely with area and regional Sales offices to ensure that measurable results targets are achieved.
* To implement all sales action plans.
* To be fully responsible for the Sales & Marketing Department in the absence of the Director of Sales & Marketing.
* To perform any other reasonable duty as required by the General Manager and assigned segments and territories.
* To attend Yield Meetings.
