1. Check floor plan for assigned station.
2. Prepare and set up tables with clean linen,
silverware, china and glassware.
3. Ensure all silverware is clean, polished and shows no
tarnish.
4. Greet guests in a professional manner with a warm,
friendly smile.
5. Accommodate all guest requests: ice water, beverages,
bread and butter and condiments.
6. Assist fellow staff members.
7. Take beverage order and food order.
8. Explain ?specials of the day? and be knowledgeable on
the menu items.
9. Provide excellent service according to service
standard. Talk to guests with a smile.
10. Handle guest checks by following the RIO procedures
and close check promptly.
11. Inform the Restaurant Manager on Duty if you
experience difficulties or problems with a guest.
12. Keep work area neat, clean and organized.
13. Attend Responsible Vendors training as required.
14. Comply with training manual procedures.
15. Leave station in a neat, clean condition. (sweep
station, wipe down serving bottles, menus and roll place
settings)
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by
supervisors/managers.

Minimum one-year experience in upscale restaurant. Good
command of the English language. Able to lift and carry
50 lbs. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop or bend
for duration of shift [at least (8) hours].
