Job Description

Begin Your Career with Omni Hotels and Resorts! The Omni
Charlotte Hotel is currently seeking an experienced
hospitality professional to join our leadership team as
our Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities Include:
*Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms
* Provides immediate feedback to room attendants if work
is not up to standards; providing appropriate follow up
training.
*Reports any repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms
*Assists in processing AM and PM room status reports
*Assists with the maintenance of a fully stocked linen
closet
*Ensures each room attendant has appropriate supplies
and linen and maintains a neat and well organized cart.
* Assists in the cleaning of guest rooms and laundry
execution when necessary.
* Assist with associate training and hold room
attendants accountable for Omni standards.
*To assist in maintaining a highly motivated and trained
staff that continually strives for excellence in service
and cleanliness.
*Assigns special projects as directed by Housekeeping
Management.
*To successfully begin and close the AM and PM shifts in
the absence of Housekeeping Management.
*Close coordination and communication with other
internal departments.
*Monitor all guest requests to ensure they are met
within the prescribed time limits.
*Provide support to the Director of Housekeeping and
Assistant Director of Housekeeping in all areas of
Housekeeping Operations.
*Be actively engaged with our guests and all hotel
associates
*Encourage staff to create unique, personalized WOW
moments at every opportunity

Job Requirements

Requirements Include:

*Minimum 2 years hospitality experience in a luxury high
volume hotel; housekeeping supervisory experience
preferred. Must have held previous hospitality
leadership position or leadership responsibilities.
*Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of
successfully leading a team in a upscale hotel
environment.
*Possess a strong attention to detail and have knowledge
and appreciation for high standards of
cleanliness/organization.
*Proven leadership skills which support an environment
of employee growth and development, interdepartmental
teamwork and exceptional customer service.
*Driven leader with the ability to perform multiple
functions and troubleshoot when needed.
*The ability to effectively communicate and provide
constructive feedback.
*Must be service and detail oriented; possessing a
friendly approachable demeanor and strong
problem-solving skills.
*Computer proficiency; to include Microsoft Office and
Windows
*Minimum high school diploma
*The ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of
time and lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
*Must be able to work a flexible schedule including
nights, weekends and holidays.
*Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
