Looking for a dynamic individual to join the Thompson Hospitality team as a Food Service Director for Prince George's Community College (PGCC).
Job Description:
This position is responsible for overseeing the day to day foodservice operations at a college account. The Food Service Director will manage retail marketing with an emphasis on driving retail sales through leadership and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, maintaining and encouraging a high level of customer service, along with ensuring that the food offered to the students is of superior quality. You will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead the food service team.
* Maintain excellent relationships with the client.
* Work with the Chef in creating menus.
* Train catering staff in service techniques, menu presentation and customer service.
* Financial management through tracking and monitoring the labor and food cost for entire operation
Requirements-
* Three to five years of Food Retail/QSR management experience required.
* BS degree preferred.
* Full understanding of and ability to implement retail Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
* Strong client relationship skills
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Catering and Brand management experience preferred
* Higher education experience a plus.
