The focal point of this renovation is the addition of our exciting new restaurant, Brasserie S&P, under the leadership of our new Executive Chef, Adam Mali. Our new concept combines great cuisine with our well established cutting edge wine and cocktail program. Strategic Intent
It is the mission and intent of this position to assist in the overall daily operation, and ensure service standards are met and/or exceeded. The Server will help create an outstanding dining environment and experience for guests.
Scope of Position
The Server maintains all dining room furniture and equipment are clean and tidy, assists guests when they have questions about the menus/wine list, takes order from guests, and anticipates guests' needs and addresses them accordingly.
Organizational Structure
The Server will report directly to the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
Major responsibilities:
* Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement
* Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Departmental Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement
* Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Guiding Principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T as part of ensuring Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
* Provide excellent service at all time to all of our guests.
* Assist Guest courteously and efficiently and create a memorable experience.
* Set up tables and side station to standard.
* Maintain the dining room and station clean at all the time.
* Keep chairs and banquettes clean and clear of debris.
* Take customer food and beverage order
* Extensive knowledge of food and beverage in order to service and up sell our product, including liquors and cocktails.
* Set or breakdown buffet for breakfast service.
* Make sure that all silver and glasses are wiped and spotless.
* Mark tables appropriately to food order for each course.
* Enter all sales in POS without errors. Double check list of items before "sending".
* Make sure all product served is accounted for on the final bill before presenting.
* Set up tables according to host communication.
* Attend to and clear tables between courses throughout the meal.
* Support the food runner to help run food in a timely manner.
* Verify guest satisfaction with each table during each course served.
