Job Details
Basic Function/Scope:
The Line Cook cooks food to order or in bulk as applicable, ensures food items are properly stocked, checks food quality and quantity as well as food portions served to guests.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Client and Customer Satisfaction/Relations
* Cook food to order or in bulk.
* Program Quality and Standards
* Follow all food handling and safety procedures and regulations.
* Check quality of food.
* Ensure appropriate food portions.
* Follow menu cycle.
* Financial
* Eliminate waste wherever possible.
* Communicate to management low-preference food selections.
* Leadership and Managerial Skills
* May oversee food preparation workers.
