Description:



Drivers shuttle hotel guests in the hotel van/vehicle to and from the airport and/or local destinations in a friendly and courteous manner. Drivers may also escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations. This position requires a valid driver's license and MAY also require a Commercial Driver's License. Other requirements include basic English language communication skills, exceptional hospitality skills, and the ability to lift and carry heavy packages and luggage, and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances.


This position requires a Pre-Hire Assessment as part of the application process. For best results we recommend you complete the assessment in one seating without any interruptions or distractions and therefore advise that you begin the application process when you can dedicate 20-30 minutes of uninterrupted time to apply for this opening.

Drive hotel guests to and from the airport and other assigned trips, obeying all traffic rules and regulations constantly throughout shift to ensure a safe, accident-free trip.


Assist guest with storing and retrieving their luggage from the van.


Open vehicles and hotel doors to assist guests.


Respond to guest questions, issues and problems regarding transportation, hotel services and local events, points of interest and activities.


Maintain the hotel van; gas, oil, cleanliness; filling in daily van reports and reporting any malfunctions on a daily basis.


Clean and public areas in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations to include but not limited to: hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells, etc


Aid section housekeepers as needed (i.e. bed boards, roll-ways, etc.)


Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
