The George Hotel, a Kimpton Hotel, is seeking qualified management candidates with strong front office operations experience for the position of Assistant Front Office Manager. The position is responsible for providing dynamic, results-driven leadership that will motivate the Front Office and Guest Services teams to consistently achieve a high level of guest and employee satisfaction. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success with fully-immersed oversight of the Front Desk, Bell/Door/Valet, Night Audit and PBX Operations including ensuring a commitment to all Kimpton initiatives, recruitment, employee training and recognition, payroll administration and scheduling . The Assistant Front Office Manager reports to the Front Office Manager.
Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business or related discipline and a minimum of 8-12 months hotel front office/guest service operations supervisory experience preferably in a boutique hotel environment. Additional skills required include but are not limited to: excellent organizational and task management; verbal, written and presentation skills; negotiation and conflict management; and employee relations.
