and most sophisticated institutional Hotel Owners.

The Company is currently searching for an extraordinary
Hotel IT/Systems Manager to join the team and work in
partnership with Principles, Senior Leaders, and the
many talented professionals in the hospitality industry.

JOB SUMMARY

The Hotel IT/Systems Manager for the [HOTEL NAME] hotel
position includes the following primary objectives:

Ensure all areas of the hotel are supported with proper
computer systems in accordance with the brand standards
of Highgate IT and/or the appropriate governing Brand
(e.g., Hilton, Marriott, etc.). Provide technical
support for all hotel systems including but not limited
to: Administrative/Hotel Network Servers, including SAN
and Blade technologies Workstations and Printers
Telecommunications Systems including management
telephone carriers All Hotel Software (e.g., PMS,
Delphi, etc.) Highgate Apps (Citrix, Business
Intelligence, etc.) Productivity Applications (e.g.,
Microsoft Office) Administration of Email
Systems/Provider (hosted Microsoft Exchange) Perform
system administration and maintenance tasks including
Data protection/backup and disaster recovery at sites
Vulnerability Management Management of software
maintenance/updates (Windows, Office, etc.) Management
of virus protection and end point protection General
network and user administration tasks Oversee financial
aspects of the IT department including expense
management, etc. Creating and updating detailed
documentation on all hotel systems. Managing all IT
vendors including telecommunications systems. Managing
all IT-related projects, including renovation,
construction, etc. Handle other system administration
tasks and/or special projects as directed by Highgate
IT. Assisting with management of HSIA vendor and support
services, and providing guest service for in-house
groups, etc.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

A qualified candidate should have the following
qualifications and experience: Five + years experience
supporting hotel, retail or similar technology
environment (desirable) Experience supporting Microsoft
Server technologies and related hardware. Windows Server
2003/2008 certification is a plus. Furthermore, a strong
understanding of Group Policies and multi-site Active
Directory design and implementation is a must. Knowledge
of Server hardware including Blade and SAN Solutions.
Knowledge of all Windows platforms and general office
automation and productivity software Knowledge of
various hospitality specific applications including
Opera and Delphi are a plus MS SQL experience a plus
Minimum two years experience in providing
implementation, and support of information systems in
the hospitality industry. Opera; Micros POS, Delphi,
Great Plans, and/or other hospitality property
management systems highly preferred. As with all
positions in our business, customer service proficiency
is required. Must be highly capable of working with
end-users.
