Job Description

Provide wine, liquor and related bar service to guests at assigned stations. Provide excellent bar service to guests and servers to ensure smooth operation. Learn all menus, beverage and wine lists, including daily specials. Learn and follow all beverage recipes and adhere to the established pour policy. Operate within full compliance of liquor laws and regulations. Adhere to and enforce all control systems. Learn all prices of drinks. Account for all beginning cash register bank, all cash and comps. Maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities. Process orders through cash register. Collect payment and promptly settle all cash and charge transactions. Requisition liquor and other supplies when needed with supervisor's approval. Keep bar area clean and organized at all times and prepared for oncoming shift. Inform supervisor of guests who appear to be intoxicated. Ask for identification of all suspected under age patrons. Ice and fill all non-alcoholic drinks for servers. Adhere to established policies and procedures regarding customer service standards. Keep station stocked with all liquor, glasses and High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

Job Requirements

Must be able to work varied shifts and varied days off, including weekends and holiday periods. Flexibility in fingers and hands to operate cash register and beverage guns. Pick up glasses, ice scoop and use a shot glass to measure liquor according to procedure. Must possess mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction. Ability to work with hands in ice for 8 to 10 hour shifts. Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hour shifts. Ability to work in constricting areas. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous bartending experience preferred. Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Must be able to abide by the company appearance standards and compliance with the designated uniform.
Must obtain and maintain an Indiana Liquor Permit. Must be able to obtain and maintain an Indiana Gaming Commission Identification Badge..
