Position: Risk Management/OSHA Compliance Coordinator

Position Summary:

Provide clerical and administrative support for the Risk Management Department and Administration Division by performing clerical tasks such as data input, typing, word processing, answering telephones, reading, and filing / documenting incoming correspondence. Organizes and maintains various databases used in Risk Management on daily basis. Responsible for data processing/tracking of all blood borne pathogen documentation and all other OSHA related paperwork and training documents. Completes requisitions and maintains inventories of office supplies. Assists in the compilation and production of statistical reports, used by Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando and the Loews Corporation.

Job Specific:

? Completes data entry of Bloodborne Pathogen, HAZCOM, Lockout Tagout, Personal Protective Equipment and Emergency Action Plan related documentation into ADP Enterprise software
? Maintains updated employee list and required training compliance
? Issues tracking compliance reports
? Assists the Director of Orlando Risk ControlRisk Manager /Risk Analyst in the establishment and administration of cost–effective risk management programs that assure compliance with federal, state and local safety OSHA legislation
? Identifies areas of non-compliance and recommends corrective action to remedy deficiencies
? Maintains database systems to track accident/loss statistics, maintains logs and claim files on all pending claims, prepares and submits related reports to management
? Maintains, requests, and updates Certificate of Insurance database information provided by all companies conducting business with Loews Hotels @ Universal Orlando
? Ability to follow-up with both guest and employee using the phone, in-person, or in writing, using specific guidelines of communication
? Ability to diffuse situations with guest or employee using diplomacy and tact.
? Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

Qualifications:

? High school diploma or GED
? Two years clerical / computer experience and / or equivalent training. Legal and / or Insurance experience background highly recommended.
? Strong background in Microsoft Word, Access, ADP Enterprise, Excel, Power Point, and the ability to quickly learn other software that is required by Risk Management.
? Basic knowledge of OSHA and ADA compliance legislation and established guidelines, industry practices with regard to ensuring the safety and accessibility of Loews Hotel at Universal Orlando to both guest and employee
? Excellent communication skills – oral and written
? Full command of the English language with a working knowledge of Spanish is recommended
? Able to apply common sense to complete various written and verbal instructions
? Very strong guest service skills
? Ability to organize and handle multiple diverse tasks at one time
