Job Title: Ambassador
Reports to: Assistant Beverage Manager/Beverage Manager
Responsible for set-up, checking identification, ensuring that all liquor laws are being upheld, providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all of our guest. Ensuring that all of the Marriott's policies and procedures in regards to safe alcohol consumption and service is being upheld to the highest standard.
1. Checking proper and valid identification to ensure that all patrons are of proper drinking age. (50%)
2. Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner; maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction. (10%)
3. Dealing with difficult situations, guests or intoxicated individuals and following Marriott's policies in regards to these situations. (20%)
4. Know and comply with all state liquor laws and fire codes. (20%)
Knowledge and Skills:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year of bar or nightclub security preferred
Age: Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
Skills and Abilities: Communication (English) skills and hospitality skills required
Full knowledge of state liquor laws and fire codes
Full knowledge and completion of TIPs training
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
