Job Description
BASIC PURPOSE:
Assist the Love's Corporate focused information technology business transformation process by fully leveraging technical expertise and best practice design methodology. Work directly with assigned business unit and clients, evaluate their needs, analyze the options and provide effective and resourceful technical solutions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Partner with business analysis, app/dev, DBA, and server teams in the support, maintenance and functional development of Love's small-to-medium scale corporate solutions as they relate to the supported business unit
* Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, structures, solutions quickly
* Demonstrated ability to assist in the design, development, and implementation of solution and hardware solutions, systems, or products
* Exhibits a strong customer service focus with an ability to work with other team members in an on-call support cycle
* Demonstrated personal time management skills and ability to follow through on tasks assigned with minimal supervision
* Exhibits a desire to continue growth of software skills, including new platforms and applications not previously used
* Ability to work with teams in multiple geographic locations
* Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts
* Demonstrated ability to apply statistical and other research methods into systems issues and products as required
* Ability to collaborate with other team members, business analysts, subject matter experts and project sponsors to determine solution options as it relates to project scope
* Research/review/analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of current solution and implementation
* Contribute expertise to investigation and research of new solutions (ie build vs buy)
* Perform other tasks as needed to deliver successful solutions
* Other duties assigned as needed
