Job Description
The Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is currently
hiring for the 2013 season for on-call banquet servers.
Primary Tasks:
* Perform all Banquet sidework as designated by the
Banquet Captain.
* Efficiently and properly perform all service
standards.
* Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and
function related duties.
* Report to Banquet Manager any need for housekeeping
and/or repairs of and banquet equipment.
* Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor
liability laws.
* Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor
liability laws.
* Must attend all designated staff and pre-meal
meetings.
* Responsible for reporting all product/service defects,
and measuring process attributes as applicable.
Essential Tasks:
Setting tables, serving meals (food and beverages),
clearing tables, and responding to guest requests at
banquets and off-premise catering functions; serving
guests properly and on time.
Job Requirements
* Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of serving
experience
* Must obtain TIPS Alcohol Training Certification
prior to first day of work.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
* Must be able to be on your feet forlong periods of
time
* Must be able to work in an outdoor environment when
needed
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include
nights and weekends
* Friendly demeanor and hospitable.
