Job Description

Omni Amelia Island Plantation is seeking a Banquet Cook
I. This candidate will provide and maintain high quality
standards and procedures in preparing and serving all
banquet food.

Applicant must be a self starter, able to work alone
with minimal supervision, task oriented and able to
maintain a high level of speed of work while maintaining
accuracy, cleanliness and safety standards.

Culinary degree preferred. Must have two years prior
experience in similar food and beverage operation.
Position requires good knife skills and a working
knowledge of sanitation standards.

Job Requirements

Position requires bending, continuous standing, pushing,
pulling, carrying & lifting up to 70lbs. Must have
ability to work standing up for long periods of time to
perform the essential functions.

Complete daily prep list, performs work assignments to
meet proper quantities within a prompt time frame. Must
be able to assist with production of hot and cold menu
items for service in banquets.

Must have flexible schedule to include weekends and
holidays.
