Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a

qualifying leads and closing the deal. If you are the

prefer candidates who demonstrate a passion for food and
beverage and have upscale menu-planning experience.

The Catering Sales Manager will sell and service the
corporate and social catering markets in an upscale
hotel setting. They will work in a dynamic setting with
a diverse team of Sales and Operations professionals who
collaborate to create an exceptional experience for our
clients. We need someone who enjoys motivating and
directing others and is an ace at fostering and
maintaining relations with clients.

Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
solicitation of direct-selling in the local catering
market; providing catering services; communicating with
clients and our operations team prior to events; and to
initiate, negotiate, and close contracts for all catered
functions.

Job Requirements

A proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals is
essential. Outstanding follow-up, attention to detail,
planning and organization skills are an absolute must.
We require excellent verbal and written communication
skills and at least 3 years of previous Catering
experience in an upscale hotel setting or closely
related upscale setting such as a Country Club. We
require at least one year of Catering Management
experience. Familiarity with Delphi and wedding planning
experience is preferred. Familiarity with the local
market is important. Our ideal candidate is engaged and
networked with the catering and meeting planning
community and very familiar with the needs of our
upscale clients.
