Job Description
The Omni San Diego is downtown San Diego's premier
upscale hotel, steps away from the bustling Gaslamp
District and connected via skywalk to Petco Park. We are
committed hospitality professionals who deliver an
energetic and vibrant style of customer service to our
guests and work together seamlessly as a team. Our team

Associate satisfaction scores in the company.
The Loss Prevention Officer will ensure the Safety and
Security of our guests and Associates and provide
prompt, courteous and welcoming customer service. The
Loss Prevention Officer has a wide range of contact with
employees from all departments and guests from around
the world. He/She will perform a great variety of
functions.
Essential Functions:
* Perform Security rounds of the hotel
* Visit all locations requiring special attention
* Respond immediately to emergency incidents and
security requests
* Report all pertinent activities during each shift
via oral and written reports
* Monitor the entry and exit of all visitors
* Monitor the security of the receiving dock
* Perform basic first aid as needed
* Conduct investigations pretaining to propertly loss
or damage, theft, injuries and accidents
* Assist guests with key entry
* Follow proper Lost and Found procedures
* Escort high-profile guests
Job Requirements
The Candidate must:
* Be able to read, write, and speak English
* Possess excellent customer service skills
* Possess the ability to handle stressful and
confrontational situations while remaining calm and
assertive
* Work independently and handle difficult situations
with minimal supervision
* Have good computer skills
* Be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Preferrably the candidate will have:
* Hotel Experience or upscale/luxury retail experience
* Prior certification as a Security professional
* CPR and First Aid certification
