Job Description
Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of the lobby and public areas which include the outside front entrance of the hotel while projecting MileNorth Hotel's Hospitality By the Mile standard of service at all times.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Receives work assignments, signs for any related materials, i.e. keys, radio etc. at the beginning and end of the shift.
2. Responds and completes all service requests via HotSos.
3. Assist room attendants on removing garbage and dirty linen from carts throughout the day.
4. Assist with removal of dirty linen and garbage from back landings if applicable. Pick up dirty linen from the housekeeping closets and bring down to the 7^th floor linen holding area and put into the linen bins.
5. Transport any Room Service trays/items in the guest hallways to the service elevator landings.
6. Vacuum assigned floors for the day, dust all walls and pictures.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets. Remove trash and remove non-floor closet items and transport to proper storage area.
8. Sweep and mop back landings and stairwells.
9. Empty all trash from the 7^th floor landing area.
10. Empty all trash from back landings into the proper containers for recycling.
11. Pick up all cribs and rollaways and put in proper storage area.
12. Coffee cups and glasses are to be cleaned in the dishwasher and disbursed on each landing.
13. Assist with linen delivery as necessary.
14. Complete all projects as assigned.
15. Perform other miscellaneous Housekeeping duties as assigned.
16. Assist in emergency situations.
17. Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to safety/security department and/or direct supervisor.
18. Report and return items left by checkout guests to Housekeeping Department's Lost and Found Area
